MASH was formed in 1991 by EAM Composer Magnus Alexanderson and Visual Artist Sachiko Hayashi.

 

MASH's focus has been exploring various aspects of (inter-)relation between audio and visual, resulting in experimentations in several formats, namely multi-media performances, single channel videos and audio-visual interactive performances.

Through the years MASH has received project grants and their works have been chosen for several prestigeous international festivals in Europe and the USA.  Notable venues include Not Still Art (New York) and Transmediale (Berlin).
